Let it roll, baby, roll! This wonderful "Inspired By" model from Gibson Custom blends features from The Doors guitarist's favorite SG models combined into a spectacular instrument with a classic vibe that is sure to light anyone's fire. Nothing rocks as much as a good old SG, and Robby made sure to specify the best of the best details for his signature model based on his 40+ years of playing many different SGs. Add in the '57 Classic Humbucking pickups with a push/pull to put them out-of-phase in the mixed position and you have a tone machine for the ages!
With only 50 of the aged and personally signed models available worldwide, this is a must-have collectible for die-hard fans of one of the most original and influential groups of the classic rock era. Robby's songwriting with The Doors continues to resonate with new generations with many timeless rock classics he penned including "Light My Fire," "Love Me Two Times," and "Love Her Madly." Don't miss your opportunity to own this rare rock-and-roll collectible that comes complete with signature case and certificate of authenticity.

As soon as you feel the neck of this guitar … you'll know.
One of the most important factors determining whether or not you'll bond with a particular guitar is the shape of its neck profile. Most of us don't give it much thought, but the neck profile is vitally important to hand comfort, playability, the transfer of vibrations between neck and body, and ultimately the overall resonance, feel, and tone of the instrument.
In collaboration with Gibson Custom, we have worked hard to bring you a new Les Paul reissue that features a neck shape that has the magical, ultra-comfortable feel equal to the very finest vintage examples. As a matter of fact, we went through the vast collection of a lifelong Les Paul aficionado and chose a specific vintage Les Paul with the neck that all participants agreed had the most incredible feel and was the most enjoyable to play on. We then arranged to have a top engineer from Gibson Custom fly out with Gibson's state of the art digital measuring equipment to take precise measurements of this supernatural neck. With the exact measurements gathered, Gibson Custom went home to accurately reproduce it at their factory down to the finest details and it is now used exclusively for the 1955 Les Paul reissue series. It has a full front-to-back depth, yet feels deceptively small due to its uniquely shaped shoulders. We strongly believe our collaboration with Gibson has brought about the most balanced '50s style Les Paul neck found on any reissue guitar. It can give you the ultimate in tonal transfer, comfort, and playability. Try one for yourself and feel the difference!
Today's featured model is the '55 Les Paul Custom Hot-Mod with adjustable bridge, Soft Shoulder '55 neck profile, and BurstBucker humbucking pickups. Click the video below to see Jeff Pevar demonstrate this model.

Unmatched harmonic richness and incredible singing sustain are hallmarks of the 1955 Reissue Series Les Paul guitars from Gibson Custom. By utilizing the proper vintage metal alloys and longer dimensions for the steel tailpiece studs and bushings, the '55 series comes closer to true vintage tonality than ever before.
This week's featured guitar is an early '55 "Refin" Les Paul featuring a TonePros lightweight wraparound tailpiece and sweet sounding P-90 single-coil pickups. This combination gives a full, resonant sound with plenty of bite and presence. The beautiful "Atlanta Burst" nitro lacquer finish is extremely visually satisfying the way its deep and vibrant red outer burst gently fades into the rich amber center. Like all the variations in the 1955 Les Paul Series, this one has the ultra-comfortable '55 Soft Shoulder neck profile copied from a prime, magical-feeling original 1955 neck—it's a dream to play! If you want the best in the Les Paul look, sound, and feel, you owe it to yourself to check out the '55 Reissue Series.

The next generation of the legendary Silver Burst Les Paul Custom from Gibson's Custom Shop, this Les Paul was made to rock out in full style and comfort! Built upon the highly popular Les Paul Axcess Standard series, this powerful-sounding Les Paul has all the traditional and upscale Les Paul Custom appointments including ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlays, split diamond headstock inlay, and multiple decorative bindings around the body. Additionally, it has all of the creature comforts of the Axcess including a slightly thinner and lighter body, the "ribcage" cutout that lets the body comfortably sit close to your body, and the smoothly contoured heel for easy access to the highest frets. All of these features add up to unprecedented comfort and playability.
Two uncovered, high-powered humbuckers (498T in the bridge and 496R in the neck) fuel the Silver Burst Axcess and give you the ability to easily drive your amp into the perfect crunch or scorching lead sound. You can also back the volumes off to get a full, rich sound that is cleaner and nicely defined. Available with either a Floyd-Rose vibrato bridge with locking nut, or a more traditional Tune-O-Matic Bridge with stop tailpiece, this guitar was designed to be a player's dream with the full sound that only comes from a Gibson Les Paul. The rare Silver Burst finish is the icing on the cake and will ensure you don't go unnoticed on stage.

This one-of-a-kind archtop guitar from the Gibson Custom Shop is both beautiful and exotic. The base model for this guitar is the famous 1934 L-5, however an amazing koa back was used in place of the usual maple, and paired with a marvelous cedar top for a never-before-seen, never-before-heard combination.
This guitar is a true work of art. The koa head veneer is bookmatched in an inverted chevron pattern that effectively complements the art-deco look of the large pearl blocks against the guitar's dark ebony fingerboard. Top it off with a koa truss rod cover and matching koa pickguard and this thing is pure class! Kudos to Gibson Custom for going outside the box and creating one of the most visually stunning guitars we've ever seen!

A regular favorite of Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, Noel Gallagher of Oasis, and Rusty Anderson of Paul McCartney's band, the Gibson Trini Lopez Standard guitar is a striking take on Gibson's classic ES-335 semi-hollowbody. With its distinct diamond-shaped f-holes, split diamond fingerboard inlays, and 6-on-a-side headstock, it has a style and class all its own. Originally a popular signature model built for 1960s pop artist Trini Lopez, many players through the years have discovered what a sweet sounding and great multi-tasking guitar the Trini Lopez Standard is. It's got the warmth of a hollowbody, yet has the power to fuel a rock band.
This reissue from the master craftsmen at Gibson Custom features the classic appointments that gave the original model its unique look and sound, including Gibson's famous high-quality laminated maple top, with matching maple back and rim, finished in an antiqued, faded red hue that delivers the desired vintage look so commonly sought in today's guitars. The modern reissue has all of the desirable features of the earliest mid-'60s version of the original models, most importantly the full 1-11/16" nut width and a neck profile with a thickness that is substantial, yet not overwhelming. A pair of Gibson's renowned '57 Classic humbucker pickups gives the Trini Lopez reissue all the vintage "PAF" tone expected from such a classic guitar. Call today to order one of the distinctive, versatile, and rich sounding Trini Lopez guitars.

When Gibson originally designed the Advanced Jumbo model in 1935, they set out with the goal to create the best-sounding, most powerful flattop acoustic guitar built to date. Many people today feel that Gibson not only created the best guitar of that era, but created the ultimate flattop acoustic of all time! Built upon their round-shoulder jumbo body shape, the Advanced Jumbo utilizes the very best tonewoods, has a perfectly thought out scalloped X-bracing pattern, and features a 25-½" scale length to provide greater tone and power.
Gibson's catalog of 1937 said it best when it accurately described the qualities of this amazing acoustic: "Do you like a deep, throaty guitar- one that has a bass so deep, rich, and full that it can be "felt" as well as heard- and treble that responds to the bass with harmonious singing brilliancy? The new Advanced Jumbo is that guitar!" Thankfully, Gibson Montana brought back the Advanced Jumbo in the 1990s after carefully recreating all of the details of a vintage original. Built by their master craftsmen, this gives new generations of guitarists the opportunity to own one of most authoritative acoustic guitar designs ever made, with a tonal richness that is second to none. Order your Advanced Jumbo today!

Sandwiched between The Yardbirds and Cream, 1967's John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton was a showcase for the brilliant 21-year-old guitarist turned deity. For this record, Clapton picked up a 1960 Les Paul Standard, plugged it into a Marshall tube amplifier, and proceeded to set the music world on fire. The sound Clapton created helped define not only the cutting edge blues-rock of the day, but its powerful, fat sound has influenced generations of guitar players ever since!
Eric Clapton played some of his most innovative phrasing and countless pioneering licks while using this Les Paul. Unfortunately, the guitar was stolen at an early Cream rehearsal causing many fans to miss the signature sound Eric created with this exceptional Les Paul. Fortunately for us, Gibson Custom and Eric Clapton have come together for a historic collaboration this year to recreate a tribute to his original guitar. Based on feedback and recollections from Clapton, this guitar has all of the features that Clapton prefers including a special thin 1960 "Eric Clapton" neck profile, Grover tuners, and custom pickups.
Musician's Friend Private Reserve will have very limited quantities of all three versions; Murphy Aged and Signed by Eric Clapton, Murphy Aged, and VOS (Vintage Original Spec). All come with special collectible packages, certificate, and a Gibson Custom hardshell case silkscreened with Eric's signature.

This week's spotlight guitar is a Refin Hot-Mod 1955 Les Paul model featuring a TonePros lightweight wraparound tailpiece and a beautiful vintage-looking "Pale Whiskey" sunburst finish. Some might call this a "conversion re-creation" as it emulates an original 1955 Les Paul that has been converted from P-90 single-coil pickups to humbucking pickups and has been factory refinished as a sunburst. As the popularity of the 1959 Sunburst Les Paul exploded, many players that could not track down an original Sunburst example performed this conversion on early goldtop Les Pauls as they tried to get closer to the sound and look of their dream guitar. This version maintains the single-piece wraparound bridge/tailpiece combination of an early '55, which many musicians actually prefer over the two-piece alternative believing that it more directly drives the guitar body resulting in additional resonance. Add in the powerful, full sound of humbucking pickups and you get a very rich tone that has incredible sustain and a signature strong edge.
Like all the variations in the 1955 Les Paul Series, this one has the ultra-comfortable '55 Soft Shoulder neck profile copied from a prime, magical-feeling original 1955 neck—a dream to play! Unmatched harmonic richness and incredible singing sustain are hallmarks of the 1955 Reissue Series Les Pauls from Gibson Custom. By utilizing the proper vintage metal alloys and longer dimensions for the steel tailpiece studs and bushings, the '55 series comes closer to true vintage tonality than ever before.
This week's featured guitar is the stock version, early '55 Les Paul Goldtop featuring a TonePros lightweight wraparound tailpiece and sweet-sounding P-90 single-coil pickups. This combination gives a full, resonant sound with plenty of bite and presence. Like all the variations in the 1955 Les Paul Series, this one has the ultra-comfortable '55 Soft Shoulder neck profile copied from a prime, magical-feeling original 1955 neck—a dream to play! If you want the best in Les Paul sound and feel, you owe it to yourself to check out the '55 Reissue series.

This one-of- a kind archtop guitar from the Gibson Custom Shop is both beautiful and exotic. The base model for this guitar is the famous 1934 L-5, however an amazing koa back was used in place of the usual maple, which was then paired up with a marvelous cedar top for a never-before-seen, never-before-heard combination.
